I’m Chris Havenar, a Senior Financial Analyst and Certified Treasury Professional with more than a decade of experience in municipal finance, capital planning, and treasury management. My career has centered on helping public organizations make smarter, data-driven financial decisions—whether that’s forecasting revenues, managing large capital portfolios, or structuring major bond issuances. Over the years, I’ve managed more than a billion dollars in municipal debt, supported hundreds of long-term infrastructure projects, and improved financial processes through automation and systems development. I enjoy building financial models, solving operational challenges, and making complex information clear and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences. A big part of my work involves optimizing processes and implementing tools that improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across financial operations. Outside of my professional life, I’m passionate about technology. I spend my free time experimenting with Python programming, managing home servers, building media systems, and exploring new tools that blend data, automation, and digital organization. Whether it’s creating custom scripts, tuning a Linux server, or managing a growing digital media collection, I enjoy projects that let me learn, refine, and create.
